The 1922 manor house in the evening light
Boitzenburger Land · Uckermark

Eighty minutes from Berlin. Eight hectares from everything else.

A whole manor house on its own lake — for a weekend, a strategy week, a team that finally wants to think something through to the end.

i. The Estate

A manor house that, for one weekend, is yours alone.

Fifteen rooms, two seminar rooms, an old fireside hall and a kitchen that is yours. All around, eight hectares of woodland and a still lake in which the phone grows quieter of its own accord.

No shared breakfast with strangers, no conference-hotel carpet. You arrive, the gate closes behind you, and for a few days this is your place — with good coffee, good bread and the good butter.

ii. What you come for
01 — Offsite

The week you finally think it through.

Strategy, roadmap, kick-off. A place without distraction, where a decision is allowed to mature before it is made.

02 — Retreat

Arrive, unwind, carry on clearer.

Sauna by the water, woodland to the horizon, evenings by the fire. For teams who are also allowed to do nothing now and then.

03 — Celebrations

Weddings, milestone birthdays, long tables.

The whole house, the whole night, your own people. With room to stay over, so no one has to leave early.

Attic apartment03
Old beams, arched windows, plenty of light. The retreat apartment up under the roof.
Floral rooms
Floral rooms04
Flowered canopies, green carpet, a little of the old country house — deliberately left that way.
Library
Library05
Books, soft light, room for small gatherings. Doubles as a second seminar room.
Rooms in the green
Rooms in the green06
Quiet double rooms overlooking woodland and meadow. Open the window and all you hear is birdsong.
iv. The Grounds

Eight hectares, a lake, and no path you have to take.

Gentle hills, still water, old mixed woodland. Grass paths along the shore, weeping willows over the bank, wildflowers wherever they please. The estate lies so deep in the green that the nearest road is little more than a memory.

v. Sauna by the lake

Heat up. Step out. Into the lake, or into the cold air, or both.

The barrel sauna sits by the water, and in the evening the fire in front of it burns of its own accord. Then a few steps down to the shore — and the day is officially over.

In summer the jetty in the morning mist, in winter the snow on the timber. Both are part of it.

vi. Rooms to gather

Rooms where a team comes together — to think, to talk and to breathe.

Two seminar rooms, the library and, in summer, the tent in the garden. A circle of chairs, seated rows or the floor — the rooms play along, whether you're refining a strategy, running a training session or simply talking things over in peace. The projector's on, the wifi holds, the pens write.

And when your head is full, your own fireside hall, the team kitchen and the lake are right next door.

Seated rows hold more people than a circle of chairs, bodywork and floor work the fewest — hence the staggered figures. Larger groups spread across several rooms.

vii. Rooms to dine

We eat together. Best of all, at length.

Two salons for breakfast and dinner, a fully equipped catering kitchen — and when the evening is warm, you simply lay the table in the garden. Fresh, mostly vegetarian, and game from the region on request.

viii. Voices

We arrived with an open roadmap and left with a settled one. The place had a remarkable part in that.

Product team · Berlin

No hotel buffet, no lift muzak. Just us, the fire and the lake. Exactly the quiet we needed.

Sauna in the evening, mist over the water in the morning. The team still talks about it today — and works better together.
