While hiking with friends through the heart of the Uckermark, in the middle of the Feldberg lake district, we will learn together to distinguish between mushrooms and herbs and learn about their history.
As we walk together through forests, meadows and along lakeshores, we will delve deeper into exploring and recognising their importance in our ecosystem. This landscape with its wild forests is permeated by countless networks of mycelium in a constant cycle of growth and decay, symbiosis and competition. Reading them correctly is a multifaceted and exciting adventure for all interested newcomers and experienced collectors.
Together we will share our knowledge, enjoy the wild nature and observe migratory birds on their journey. In the evening, we will prepare our collected prey together in the well-equipped seminar kitchen at the Seegut and flavour it with the herbs we have collected ourselves. Afterwards, the Seegut's cosy wood-fired sauna awaits us, and we will round off the evening with good conversation and stories by the fire.
